The Homeless World Cup is an annual global football tournament which uses football to tackle worldwide homelessness. Funded by Nike and following the England team as a starting point, the film engages with many of the competing organisations and individual competitors to ensure the scale of the annual work is appreciated.

The Re:Make project provides a unique opportunity for the public to become citizen curators, designers and makers; learning new skills or applying skills they already have, to support this ground-breaking project at Derby Silk Mill, the site of the world’s first factory. Owen worked closely with fellow filmmaker and artist Tracey Mcmaster, makers-in-residence TILT, the in-house design team, architects Bauman Lyons and the public to create these three films that will help showcase the project.
#TREASURE ISLAND 2013

A short promo for Visit England commisioned by Creative England in collaboration with Satchi & Satchi. A contemporary spin on the 'Treasure Hunt' theme where players travel the length and breadth of England following clues to locations which they then have to photograph themselves in for the chance of the grand prize.
HOME 2009

Shot in a documentary style, actors Les Mantock, Miciah Dring and Morgana Henry were interviewed in character to tell the story of a family dealing with homelessness and how they deal with the consequences. The film forms part of an educational pack that is used in schools across the East Midlands to raise awareness about homelessness.

ROOM INSIDE 2010

The film is a montage of people reciting the poem Room Inside by Philip Gross. The film featured on the National Poetry Day website and was screened at Broadway Cinema Nottingham on National Poetry Day. Room Inside has been screened at the London Southbank Centre and Ledbury Poetry Festival and across the BBC big screen Network.
