Inside out of Mind is a stage play directed by Tanya Myers and recorded for the cinema by We Are Caravan. In 2011, Professor Justine Schneider and colleagues at the Institute of Mental Health, University of Nottingham, published the results of a study of dementia wards, based on observational research. From this material Tanya Myers, co-Artistic Director of Meeting Ground Theatre Company, was commissioned to create a play. The result is a deeply touching, funny and unique play about life on a dementia ward from the perspective of the patients, the staff and visitors.
